So did anyone get out to see Ponyo when it was in the theatres? It's not my favorite Miyazaki movie, but I liked it. I thought that the animation was really good, and it has a whimsical feel to it. However, I thought it seemed like a short movie. And the main characters don't really have much of a journey to go through. When it makes it's way to dvd, its worth renting.

I wanted to see this, Nine, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and a lot of other kids movies that came out in the past month or two. I am probably not going to because I am lacking the funds. I do like some of Miyazaki's stuff (and I mainly mean Totoro and Porco Rosso). So I would probably not hate this movie completely.

You can still rent them when they come out on DVD. I haven't seen Cloudy with a Chance of Meat balls yet, but Ponyo and 9 are worth the rental.
