Default If they were to make a movie...

This thought jumped to my mind when i saw a trailer for Ponyo. The director (Hayao Miyazaki ) for that movie is frickin amazing, he made all the good anime classics like Howl's moving castle, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.

The guys good at making messed up magical things (i mean seriously, Spirted Away is the anime version of Alice and Wonderland) and i think he'd fit the bill seeing as they SHOULDNT make this live action less it end up like Dragon Ball.

He would also fix up some of the other plot holes in imaginative ways.... <3 Hayao Miyazaki

Would you want the movie to be 2D cell animation, or would you go with 3D computer animation? Even though the game was in 3D wouldn't automatically say that would be best for the movie. I think that there's a fludity of movement with cell animation that the computer animation doesn't quite capture. At least not yet.

I probably would demand that i get a poster of allegretto with the movie.

Plot hole? It's more of an enigma than a plot hole; there is a consistency, you just have to be willing to twist your brain into a pretzel shape to understand it. And as I happen to enjoy doing just that...

Definitely cell shaded animation, at least in style. If they managed to pull off 3D animation that LOOKED LIKE cell shaded animation (they're getting remarkably close these days), that would be okay.

One thing that would be nice is if they could reduce the stiffness of the character models. Not entirely, mind you; I'm well aware they were going for a "living dolls" kind of look. But just give them a more lifelike feel.

As to live action, I'm convinced (okay, not really, but I'm just saying...) there's someone out there pulling the strings in an effort to make these live action adaptations as terrible as they can so they can laugh at the people who actually watch them, Ellsworth Toohey style.

The inner mechanisms of my mind are an enigma.
